Comfort and Convenience
Both models have a passenger capacity of 7 although when it comes to comfort and utility, the 2019 QX60 has a slight advantage over the 2019 MDX. The 2019 INFINITI QX60 features a standard 3.5 DOHC V6 engine while the 2019 Acura MDX comes fitted with a standard 3.5 SOHC V6 engine. The new QX60 produces a horsepower of 295, which is 5 hp more than the horsepower delivered by the 2019 MDX that produces 290 hp. The new QX60 will also cost you less to fuel since it has a regular unleaded gasoline engine that is cheaper as compared to the premium gasoline used in the MDX. The EPA rate for the QX60 is also higher as compared to the MDX, thus making it a more environment-friendly model. The QX60 features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) without the need for ‘steps’ between gears. This allows you to drive at a more efficient speed while reducing fuel consumption and maintaining the horsepower optimally for maximum acceleration. The new MDX does not support CVT.
