All of the QX60 models run on a 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine is capable of achieving 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, and it uses a continuously variable transmission. Towing capacity is up to 5,000 pounds. Both the PURE and LUXE models come in 2WD or AWD. Additionally, only the LUXE comes with rear bumper protectors, roof rails, and outside mirrors that come with a reverse tilt-down capability.
The QX60 PURE and LUXE models come with intelligent keys that allow for push-button ignition, tri-zone temperature control and rear-seat vents, overhead ambient light, and USB charge ports in all three rows. The LUXE comes with a heated steering wheel and an available ECO Pedal. Seating on the LUXE can be upgraded if you prefer to have contrast stitching and/or leather-appointed seats. The audio systems are fairly similar on both vehicles, with the PURE coming with six speakers and a single in-dash CD player in comparison with the eight speakers and CD/DVD player that are standard on the LUXE. They both come with an 8″ color display and the INFINITI InTouch system, but only the LUXE has the option of upgrading to a 15-speaker sound system, including wireless headphones, and including rear headphone jacks with volume control.
