2020 INFINITI Q50 vs 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Serving Novi, MI

It is easy to narrow down your search for a new sedan to the INFINITI Q50 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. These are premium sedans that both have a rich history of impressing drivers in the Novi area. With an initial look at these sedans, you will discover that the Q50 is slightly more affordable than the C-Class at the base trim level. What other differences do you need to be aware of before you lock in your purchase plans?

Eight Q50 trim levels are available for the 2020 model year. While there are subtle badging differences, all trim levels carry sophisticated contouring with a relaxed, confident stance. From the front, the chrome-accented grille draws your full attention. The hood’s personality lines, the LED light ribbons, and the lower air vents all trend inward toward this beautiful grille. On the other hand, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is part of the generation that launched in 2014. The style has been updated only slightly since that time. This sedan carries the brand’s recognizable grille on the front end and side personality lines that trend as they fade to the rear. LED headlights and a moonroof are some of its exterior features.

The premium qualities of the 2020 INFINITI Q50 extend into the cabin. The commanding center stack has two digital display screens that give you access to the premium audio system, the InTouch technologies, and the climate management system. This sedan holds another digital display screen mounted in the center of the instrumentation gauges. Additional equipment includes high-grade leather seating, a push-button ignition, a wireless charging station, and more. In comparison, the 2020 C-Class sedan has a sleek center console contiguous with the center stack. A small touch display screen floats on top of the center stack. Additional C-Class features are ambient lighting, an auto climate control system, a touch control pad, and other items.

The Q50’s base powertrain is a 3.0-liter, V6 twin-turbo gas engine. It generates 300 horsepower, and it is paired with a seven-speed auto transmission. Additional standard features are hill start assist and adaptive shift control. The C-Class is equipped with a 2.0-liter, I-4 turbo powertrain that gives you 255 horsepower. Both of these models are available with more powerful engines at higher trim levels.
