Serving Novi, MI

The INFINITI QX50 has decadent yet athletic styling that is easy to fall in love with. Now that you have your sights set on this compact luxury crossover model, your attention must turn to selecting the right model year and trim from our inventory. Our Novi-area sales reps are thrilled to be a part of your shopping experience, and we are excited to help you uncover the differences between the latest model and its predecessor.

Performance

For both 2020 and 2021, the QX50 has the same trim lineup. This trim line starts with the PURE, and it is followed by the LUXE, the ESSENTIAL, the SENSORY, and the AUTOGRAPH. All five trims for both years have the same 268-horsepower, VC-Turbo 2.0-liter gas engine. This powertrain is only available with a continuously variable transmission. Regardless of the model year and trim that you select from this group, you will be able to choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The stunning style and premium features on the 2020 QX50 are unchanged across the full 2021 trim line. However, there is one notable exception to this. If you choose the 2021 QX50 LUXE, the Appearance package is an available option. This adds 20-inch wheels as well as heated exterior mirrors and dramatically dark exterior accents. The bold character runs down the hood to the well-defined front fascia, and the sharp styling on the LED headlights, the other features, and design elements hold steady. All trims for both years have a power liftgate and 19-inch wheels or larger.

Features

The primary difference in features between the 2020 and 2021 QX50 is also found at the LUXE trim level. For this trim only, the 2020 QX50 transforms several safety features that were optional into standard features for the 2021 version. These items include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot intervention, and lane keep assist. Additional features that are available or included across the many trim levels for both years include forward collision mitigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a wireless hotspot, a push-button ignition, keyless entry, and dual stacked display screens.
