2022 INFINITI QX60 vs 2020 INFINITI QX60

Serving Novi, MI

The INFINITI QX60 is the luxury crossover SUV that has been a prime pick among drivers in Novi and beyond for many years. While you may have had your eye on the 2020 QX60, you may be wondering what the next-generation 2022 QX60 offers. While both model years have strong similarities and overwhelming appeal, there are a few updates to the 2022 QX60 that could sway your decision.

Performance

Both the 2020 QX60 and the 2022 version have the same powertrain across all trim levels. This is a 295-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine. The 2020 QX60 pairs this engine with continuously variable transmission, and the result is 5,000 pounds of towing power. The 2022 QX60 mates its engine to a nine-speed auto transmission. It registers with a higher towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. Both models have front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The 2020 QX60 has a modern, elegant design with chrome accents from end to end. The grille has a diamond-style mesh backing and a pair of dual-elemental flank LED headlights that sharply angle away from the grille. The 2022 QX60 has a similar yet refreshed look. The grille has a more linear design with a radiating mesh pattern. The headlights have gained a sharp, rectangular edge. At the same time, the lower front fascia has been reworked to give you a skid plate, which sits in between a pair of powerful air vents.

Features

This three-row SUV is well-equipped across all trim levels for both years. The 2020 and 2022 versions share many features, but you will notice that the 2022 QX60 adds the ProPilot Assist safety features. Equipment found in both model years includes smart device integration, power access to the third row of seats, leather material, a sunroof, a heated steering wheel, a keyless ignition, and more.
